Route
Leave your car in the car park and take the CAI 403 trail, which climbs completely outside the ski slopes. The route is marked by the classic red and white CAI trail markers and yellow stickers. The yellow stickers indicate the ski mountaineering trail (to be followed).

The first part of the route runs through fairly dense woodland. When you reach a fork, continue left along the CAI 404 trail. Once out of the woods, the trail crosses a more open area, characterised by a few rocky outcrops, before climbing again in the final stretch until it reaches the Albani mountain hut.
From here, there is a spectacular view of the north face of Presolana.

Once you reach the hut, you have now completed the most challenging part of the climb. After a well-deserved break, you can continue along the road to the right of the hut, which has been groomed by a snowcat and leads to the Colere ski lifts.
Before reaching the hill, you can leave the snowcat track and follow the path that leads back to the Colere Infinite Mountain slopes (Chalet dell’Aquila or Cima Bianca area).

Descent
For the descent on skis, you can use the Colere Infinite Mountain slopes. Snowshoers, on the other hand, are invited to return along the same route used for the ascent (CAI trails 403–404).
