Mountain bike around Colere
The tranquility, deep green, and scent of the forest floor are the main features of this beautiful route. Due to steep sections, brief uphill stretches require pushing the MTB. The connection between Colere and Teveno along the “old road” is smooth, fun, and completely immersed in the woods. Attention is required on the long descent from Teveno to the Valbona power plant, as the coarse surface tests your suspension, brakes, arms, and legs.

Route
Starting point: Colere, parking lot by the sports field. Facing the sports field, go right then immediately left, keeping the cemetery on your left, and take the downhill trail to the bridge.

WATCH FOR THE NEXT TURN
Turn left along a steep uphill section until reaching asphalt at Magnone. Turn right, then at a sharp curve turn right again, descending concrete steps. Resume the trail faithfully until the cemetery in Teveno. Turn left onto asphalt to the main road, then right crossing the bridge on the Provincial Road.

Immediately after the bridge, take the long dirt descent to the Valbona power plant. Continue until intersecting asphalt again, follow past the industrial area in Ponte Formello, until the stop sign. Turn right toward Dezzo di Scalve.
WATCH FOR THE NEXT TURN
Upon reaching Dezzo, a few meters before the junction for Passo della Presolana, take “Via de O’” to the right. Continue up the cemented road, which later becomes dirt. Pass the fitness trail and first houses, reach the asphalt at the stop. Continue straight, then follow the pedestrian path back to the starting point.
