Route

The starting point is Colere, at the parking area of the sports field. Head to the main road and turn right, passing through Colere’s main square, then a few meters ahead, turn right onto Via Riga. Follow the dirt road and just after crossing the bridge, turn right downhill and follow the road called Via de O’, which is steep, partially cemented, and leads to Dezzo di Scalve.

At the intersection with the Provincial Road SP (ex SS) 294, turn left. At the bridge, turn right and follow the asphalt climb for about two kilometers up to Azzone. In the town center, the asphalt flattens out; continue straight toward the church, pass it, and follow the signs for the Natural Reserve of the Giovetto Woods. From here, follow faithfully the beautiful dirt road fully immersed in nature. Pass the restored sawmill, then at the next fork, follow the dirt road turning right into the Formica Rufa Reserve. Continue until reaching Passo del Giovetto.

WATCH FOR THE NEXT TURN

From Passo del Giovetto, turn right on dirt for the long and fast descent until reaching the asphalt road leading to Borno. Turn right and follow the asphalt toward Dosso. Continue until the bridge in Dezzo di Scalve, turn right, pass the junction to Presolana Pass, and immediately turn left to rejoin Via de O’ for the return to Colere.
Follow faithfully the steep cemented road, later on dirt, pass the fitness trail, and reach the asphalt. At the stop, continue straight, then follow the pedestrian path to return to the starting point.
