In winter, a silent white blanket covers the entire area, and the enchanting fir forest is transformed into the beautiful Pista degli Abeti. A large ski school field served by a ski-lift awaits you to learn how to ski in complete safety, under the guidance of skiing instructors. Alternatively, you can head to higher altitudes for ski mountaineering or snowshoeing, reaching breathtaking panoramic views. Finally, you can ice climb on the numerous waterfalls that the cold transforms into enormous stalactites.
In summer, the Bergamasque Orobie mountains is a popular destination for excursions. Several trails depart from the village, overlooking the entire Val di Scalve, and lead to the Tagliaferri, Vivione, and Campione refuges. Cycling and horseback riding routes also contribute to enriching the tourist offer. Additionally, the roller skating rink, folk festivals in the square, and visits to the old iron mines provide the opportunity to learn about part of the area’s recent history.
