Parking in Vilminore di Scalve

From April 1st to October 31st 2026, paid parking is in effect in the Municipality of Vilminore di Scalve from 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., only in parking areas (i.e., all municipally owned parking areas or those available to the Municipality, identified by appropriate signage) in the town center of Vilminore and in the localities of Bueggio, Meto, Nona, Vilmaggiore, and Pianezza.

With the exception of one-hour parking disc zones, the first two and a half hours of parking are free with the display of a parking disc.

After the first two and a half hours, it is necessary to purchase a “Scratch & Park” ticket, available in the following formats:

• 24 HOURS (DAILY): €5
• 48 HOURS (2 DAYS): €8
• 72 HOURS (3 DAYS): €10
• 1 WEEK: €20
• 2 WEEKS: €30
• 3 WEEKS: €40
• 1 MONTH: €50

The ticket must be properly completed and clearly displayed inside the vehicle at the front.

For the summer season 2025, the shuttle bus service returns for hikers who want to reach the Gleno Dam!
Again this year, the municipal administration has decided to offer the shuttle bus service connecting the center of Vilminore with the hamlet of Pianezza, at the beginning of the main trail leading to the ruins of the Gleno Dam -> Gleno Dam Shuttle Bus Summer 2025

1. 1. by purchasing a Scratch & Park ticket at local businesses (shops, restaurants, and bars) in Vilminore di Scalve and at the Val di Scalve Infopoint in Piazza Giustizia (under the arcades of Palazzo Pretorio),

Who is exempt from parking payment?

Holders of the appropriate pass (residents, second-home owners, workers, and accommodation facilities) and those in possession of a disabled parking permit (if displayed) are exempt from parking payment.
