Fishing in river Dezzo
After the fishing section of the Via Mala, above the “Seculì” waterfall, begins the Dezzo stream section that leads to the – namesake – Dezzo hamlet, the first inhabited center encountered in Val di Scalve.
Here, the calm flow of the river, which makes fishing easy, is enriched by a couple of small waterfalls that create some interesting pools for anglers.
In this stretch, the river is of easy access, though attention should still be paid to the water level.
Moving upstream, you will find the FIPSAS fishing competition area where memorial events, championships, gatherings, and competitions for children are held.
The main access to the river is located near the Santuario della Madonnina, which marks the northern limit of the competition area and offers a large parking space.
Outside competition hours, the area (which extends from the Sanctuary to the Dezzo locality) is always open to everyone.
