Latteria Sociale Montana di Scalve
The Latteria Sociale Montana di Scalve began its activity in 1968 as an agricultural cooperative thanks to a small group of founding members.
Located in Vilmaggiore, a hamlet of Vilminore di Scalve in the lush Val di Scalve, the cooperative has gained extensive experience in the artisanal production of cheeses and cured meats.
For more than fifty years, the historic dairy of Scalve has been producing dairy products using milk sourced exclusively from farms in the Val di Scalve.
It is high-quality milk obtained from animals fed solely on grass and hay.
