Rifugio Albani
The Albani Refuge is located at Lake Polzone in the municipality of Colere, at an altitude of 1,939 meters. It boasts a spectacular location directly beneath the magnificent north face of the Presolana.
The mountain hut is ideally situated for several ski mountaineering excursions in the area, as well as for tackling the extremely challenging climbing routes on the north face.
An easier, yet equally striking option is the Passo della Porta via ferrata, which leads to the southern side of the mountain where the standard route to the summit begins.
Finally, during the winter season, the refuge is accessible to skiers from the Colere slopes via a short and easy off-piste section.
