Alpine museum Colere

Inaugurated on April 25, 2015, the Colere Alpine Museum is both a place to learn and an institution in memory of the fallen soldiers.
The museum is located within the headquarters of the Gruppo Alpini Colere, who set it up and take care of it.

The museum features detailed reconstructions of a medical room and a war trench. These spaces are carefully arranged with an abundance of objects, weapons, equipment, and documents, faithfully reflecting the realistic purpose of the display.
Authentic period radios further illustrate the life of the Alpine troops: at high altitudes, they were the only way to stay in contact.
Additionally, accurate and detailed information panels explain all the displayed items, completing the exhibition.
All these elements relate to the military life of the Alpine troops across different historical periods.

We are always looking for additional military materials to further enrich the exhibition: clothing, Alpine hats, photos, discharge papers, documents, medals, certificates of merit, weapons and ammunition, or any military accessories, even those belonging to grandparents, uncles, or siblings…
